Katie Adams

Manager of Food Operations

Katie joined Lakeview Pantry as Assistant Pantry Coordinator in August of 2018 and was promoted to Manager of Food Operations in March of 2019. Katie was a volunteer at the Pantry for several years prior to joining the staff. Previously, she worked as a Construction Crew Leader for Habitat for Humanity Chicago, leading volunteers in building houses in the West Pullman neighborhood. Prior to that, she was a stage manager for professional theatre here in Chicago. Katie is glad to have a position that allows her to be on her feet much of the day, interacting with volunteers and clients.

A Seattle native, Katie came to the midwest to attend college at Northwestern University and has been a Chicagoan ever since. Outside of work she enjoys playing on the Lakeview Pantry softball team, biking, hiking, backpacking, board games, and cats.
