About Home Delivery
On Saturday mornings (excluding holiday weekends), Lakeview Pantry delivers food to some of the people in our neighborhood who need it most: the elderly, physically disabled and homebound who otherwise could not receive our services. Now featuring vegetarian options!
COVID-19 Referral Process
To refer a client for a Home Delivery, please email Eva Trampka at firstname.lastname@example.org with the client’s name, address, and phone number. Please note, we can only accommodate deliveries within our service boundaries at this time. They are bounded by the following streets:
- North Avenue to the South
- Lakeshore Drive on the East
- Western Avenue on the West
- Bryn Mawr on the North
NOTE: Until further notice, the Pop-Up Pantry is on pause due to COVID-19. These clients will still get their groceries delivered. Please stay tuned for more information.
Beginning in January of 2020, Lakeview Pantry began beta testing our newest program, the Pop-Up Pantry, for current Home Delivery clients of Wilson Yards. Groceries are provided on-site, and clients now have the option to choose menu items! We will continue to expand the program in 2020. Stay tuned for more details!
Home Delivery Social Services
Home Delivery clients are also eligible for Lakeview Pantry’s comprehensive social services. This includes:
- Public benefits assistance
- Job search training
- Mental health counseling
- Information and referral services
Professional counselors and social service interests working for you. There are no strings attached. There’s just service.
Our newest food rescue van is the first refrigerated one we have in our fleet, allowing us to expand our food rescue efforts of temperature-sensitive items to reduce food waste in the city and bring nutritious groceries to those who need them most. Sincere gratitude goes out to Starbucks and other generous donors who helped make this van possible.
