Gwen Ramírez
Director of Human Resources & Administration
Gwen joined Nourishing Hope in March of 2022 as the Director of Human Resources & Administration. Prior to her work with Nourishing Hope, Gwen worked as the Director of Administration at the American Egg Board. Gwen has also worked at the Midwest headquarters office of Coca-Cola Refreshments. She graduated from Northeastern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Gwen is also a military veteran, having served six years in the Illinois Air National Guard with deployments after 9/11 as part of Operation Northern Watch and Operation Enduring Freedom.
Gwen was born and raised in Chicago, originally from Logan Square and now living in Portage Park on the northwest side of the city. She is the proud mom of two sons, Jason and Jonathan, and a senior pug named Cash. Outside of work, Gwen enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and raising awareness for Autism and Epilepsy – both causes that are close to her heart.
