Vanessa Rico
Individual Giving Associate
Vanessa joined Nourishing Hope in October of 2019 and serves as an Individual Giving Associate, where she manages gift entries and serves as the point person for the donor database. Born and raised in Chicago’s very own Rogers Park neighborhood, she discovered a passion for data management while studying pharmacy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. This work took her to her first job at a nonprofit organization, where she worked with children and their families as a data management aide.
Outside of work, Vanessa loves writing short stories, reading mystery and horror novels, and going to theatre showings and concerts with her six-year-old daughter.
