Stop by John’s Place in Roscoe Village on Jan. 21 for a community night benefiting Lakeview Pantry! 20% of your bill will be donated back to us.
Put your thinking caps on, grab your brainiest friends, and come out to The River Kitchen and Bar on February 4 for a fun night of trivia to support a great cause! Help the Lakeview Pantry Young Leaders Board raise funds to support the Pantry’s food distribution, case management, and mental wellness programs.
The 8th annual Chicago Volunteer Expo is coming up on Sunday, February 23! Lakeview Pantry will be one of 75 nonprofit organizations from all over the city sharing more information about volunteering and making a difference in your community.
We had another great year at Lakeview Pantry in 2019! We had so much to celebrate, including our Online Market, opening The Hub, launching a new site in Humboldt Park and even more! Thank you so much for all your support in 2019, and we’re wishing all of our friends and supporters the best in the new year!

Depression can impact all aspects of our daily lives, from our jobs to our relationships with loved ones. If you are coping with depression, attend Lakeview Pantry’s new Finding Hope: Managing Depression in Your Daily Life group beginning in January 2020.

Are you interested in working for the United States Census Bureau? Join us on Friday, Dec. 6 for help with the applications! You will meet with a Census Bureau Partnership Specialist, in addition to Lakeview Pantry social workers.
Join the Kid’s Advisory Council for Family Day 2019 on Dec. 8 to help prepare us for our annual holiday toy drive, craft holiday cards and drink hot chocolate!
Lakeview Pantry is distributing new, unwrapped toys to clients on December 10-12! Current clients with children age 0-13 are eligible to receive toys.
As the sun sets earlier and the days grow colder, feeling increased stress, anxiety or sadness is common. Lakeview Pantry will host two workshops to help those in need find relief from these feelings and meet others who feel similarly on Nov. 22 and 25!

Navigating the world as an LGBTQ+ person is uniquely challenging. Our Alphabet Soup group therapy session for LGBTQ+ people age 24 and up returns on Tuesday, December 3 and continues for 10 weeks.
As the weather gets colder, Lakeview Pantry’s operating hours will be affected. Make sure you’re prepared for all of the Pantry changes and closures this holiday season.
