Lara Scott

Pantry Assistant

Lara joined the Pantry in October of 2019 as the Pantry Assistant, where she serves four days a week at The Hub and one day a week at Sheridan as a year of service volunteer with the Mennonite Voluntary Service (MVS). She is originally from Newton, Kansas, a small town about 30 miles north of Wichita and about 160 miles southwest of Kansas City. Lara graduated with a degree in athletic training from Bethel College in North Newton, Kansas.

After completing her year with MVS, she plans on going to graduate school either in Chicago or back home in Kansas. In her free time, she loves to read and watch Netflix/Hulu and sports. She is a huge Green Bay Packers fan (not good in Bears country) and a die-hard Kansas Jayhawks basketball fan (college basketball is her favorite sport to watch).
