I created Ellie D Perfume, a niche perfume company, in 2006, and have since expanded the line to include four products. The line is now carried in high end boutiques in the United States and abroad. I received a BA in psychology with a concentration in neuroscience from Haverford College, and a MLA in art history from the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to launching my perfume business, I spent eight years in New York working in finance, and then at Christie’s and an art gallery specializing in American Art before relocating to London in 2006. I moved to Chicago in 2008 with my husband, Brian, and two children, Laine and William. My involvement with Nourishing Hope started over six years ago when I volunteered for Saturday home delivery with my then 3-year-old daughter. Our Saturday mornings at the Pantry quickly became a special family tradition. We have grown to love the staff, the mission and the incredible work that the Pantry does to improve the lives of our most vulnerable neighbors.

Nourishing Hope Exists Because of the Support of Our Neighbors.

With multiple food distribution programs that deliver the equivalent of 4 million meals each year, plus thousands of social service visits that empower healthy lives, Nourishing Hope strives to build a brighter future for all Chicagoans. Join us today!
