Edward Macias

Housing Case Manager

Edward joined the Nourishing Hope in May 2021. In his role, he helps clients navigate through various resources related to housing such as rental assistance programs, Section 8 vouchers, SROs, and transitional housing. Edward has worked with various subgroups of the Chicago community including undocumented families, at-risk youth, refugees of war, homeless veterans, and individuals recently released from prison.

Edward received undergraduate degrees in Economics and Criminology, Law, and Justice from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He received his graduate degrees in Public Policy and Administration from Northwestern University. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching basketball, reading, working out, and finding new places to eat.​
