COVID-19 Response We Need Your Support!

Lakeview Pantry is committed to supporting our low income residents and their families during the COVID-19 outbreak. 40% of Chicagoans live in economic hardship which means the loss of just one paycheck, or even one shift at work can cause a dramatic decrease in financial stability, leading to food insecurity. Lakeview Pantry will be here to help those affected by this crisis. Your donation helps create:

  • An online ordering portal
  • Food pantry distribution
  • Home food delivery to the elderly and disabled
  • Food rescue from grocery stores around the city
  • Professional mental health counseling
  • Job search training and referrals
  • Food for Today, Hope for Tomorrow

“I first became interested in Lakeview Pantry after I retired and was looking for a volunteering opportunity to give back to the community. During this time I saw firsthand the real need for this service. Unfortunately, arthritis and a bad back forced me to step back from the physical work, but I have been happy to continue with my financial support. Congratulations to Lakeview Pantry on their 50 years of service!”
