Dan Laytin

Immediate Past President

I am a partner at the Chicago-based law firm of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on class action, antitrust, and commercial litigation. Having lived in Lakeview for six years, I got involved with Nourishing Hope because I wanted to work with a group that makes a tangible, direct difference in the community. I have found that the Pantry meets those criteria and more – the Pantry benefits from extraordinarily dedicated and talented staff and volunteers who carry out the Pantry’s mission in Lakeview every day.

Despite my proximity to Wrigley Field, I grew up as a die-hard White Sox fan. I am slowly adjusting to the reality that my boys may prefer the more lovable Cubs.

Nourishing Hope Exists Because of the Support of Our Neighbors.

With 3 food distribution programs that deliver more than 2.8 million pounds of food to our neighbors each year and social services that help clients achieve independence, Nourishing Hope aims to end hunger for good. Make your impact today!
