Carroll Damron

Director

I have an MBA from Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University and spent 25+ years in the packaging industry. I held a number of different positions: Manager, Treasury Operations; Region Controller and Division Controller with an integrated paper company; CFO, VP Operations and Sr. VP/General Manager with two different international liquid food-packaging companies. Prior to retirement, I ran my own real estate development company. I converted two-flats into single-family homes here in Chicago.

I have been a volunteer with Nourishing Hope for almost five years. Being a community-based (neighbor helping neighbor) organization as well as the passion and dedication of all those involved with the Pantry and its mission keeps me coming back.

My wife Frieda and I enjoy taking advantage of all that the city of Chicago has to offer. We are avid hikers and spend a lot of time on the trails in Sonoma County, CA. We enjoy traveling, cooking, good food and good wine.

Nourishing Hope Exists Because of the Support of Our Neighbors.

With 3 food distribution programs that deliver more than 2.8 million pounds of food to our neighbors each year and social services that help clients achieve independence, Nourishing Hope aims to end hunger for good. Make your impact today!
