Lakeview Pantry Social Services and Case Management
Lakeview Pantry can help you navigate the resources that are available to you and create a plan for making changes in your life based on your goals. Some clients only need a quick referral and they are on their way. Others may desire a longer term partnership where they can create a comprehensive plan to meet their goals.
You choose what assistance you want and to what degree. We are here to assist and support you.
Walk-In Case Management Services
Walk-in case management is available during food distribution Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays from 12pm-4pm at Lakeview Pantry Sheridan (3945 N. Sheridan Rd.) and Thursday 6:30-8pm at Lakeview Pantry Oakdale (1414 W. Oakdale).
One-on-One Long-Term Services
By Appointment Only. If you want a longer term partnership with the Social Services staff at Lakeview Pantry, we will complete a comprehensive service plan and meet with weekly. We can assist you with:
- Mental health counseling. Our goal is to offer clients suffering from depression, anxiety, stress, and grief assistance in developing coping skills thus improving overall mental health. Counseling will be provided by trained and licensed professionals.
- Employment counseling and individualize employment assistance tailored to your own personal work history. Lakeview Pantry offers basic assistance with resumes and cover letters as well as assistance with online applications and using an e-mail address. In addition, Lakeview Pantry offers programming for clients with more extensive work histories such as mentoring, monthly professional development groups, and ongoing support.
Lakeview Pantry offers counseling services to our clients who are uninsured. Licensed, trained professionals can work with clients experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, or other stressors.
