For the past ten months, I have been working at Lakeview Pantry as a full time volunteer through the Jesuit Volunteer Corps (JVC).  Jesuit Volunteers intend to live according to four core values: social justice, simple living, community, and spirituality.  JVC often introduced the value of community as understanding the best practices of living in an intentional community—understanding how to resolve conflict and reach consensus.
